Recommendations
OBJECTIVE
The Recommendations option allows the technicians to enter comments and recommendations for calls and/or work orders.

maestro* > Projects > Project Costing > Processing > Recommendations maestro* > Projects > Work Orders > Processing > Recommendations maestro* > Service Management > Service Management > Processing > Recommendations |
- In the Recommendations window, select the Call Number or the Work Order.
- Complete the required information in the Detail tab.
Use the button to access the available information.
Fields
Action
Follow-up Date
Enter today’s date.
Follow up Next Date
Enter the date for the next follow-up.
Status
Select the status of the recommendation.
Type
Select the type of recommendation.
Follow-up Contact
Select the contact for the follow-up of the recommendation.
Name
Displays the name of the selected contact.
Equipment
Select the equipment affected by the recommendation. That is either equipment that needs a reparation or with a problem.
NOTE: Only equipment entered for the call’s contract or for the work order is available.
Customer Code
Displays the customer code of the customer related to the call or the work order.
NOTE: When selecting a call number or a work order, the list of possible customers is limited to only customers form service calls or work orders.
Contact
Select a contact.
NOTE: When a call number or a work order is entered and a customer code is selected, only the contacts associated to the selected customer are available in this field.
Name
Displays the name of the contact.
- Description section:
The technician can enter the description of activities, agreements, or problems for today’s date.- Follow-up Comment section:
The technician can enter the comments/recommendations for the follow-up visit.
- Click on Save.
- Click on Quit.

In maestro*MOBILE, a user can create a recommendation without a service call, a project or a work order number. It is possible to access the List Generator and print a recommendation by clicking the Print icon. Last, maestro* users can transfer emails and attachments through Outlook’s Transfer to maestro* icon. All files can be moved to the Document Management function of the Recommendations option. |
